Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship (MSDE)

The Ministry is responsible for co-ordination of all skill development efforts across the country, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation,existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.The Ministry aims to Skill on a large Scale with Speed and high Standards in order to achieve its vision of a Skilled India

Ministry of Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism, is the nodal agency for the formulation of national policies and programs and for the co-ordination of activities of various Central Government Agencies, State Governments/UTs and the Private Sector for the development and promotion of tourism in the country.This Ministry is headed by the Union Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge)Objectives of the Ministry To assist in tourism planning through the development of tourism policies and preparation of long-term plan To extend support for the development and upgrading of tourism structures and infrastructure.

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET)

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) was notified by MSDE on 5th December 2018. NCVET will subsume the existing skill regulatory bodies- National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) & National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and will act as an overarching skills regulator. It was operationalized on 04.11.2019 through the assumption of additional charge by Secretary, MSDE and Senior Economic Advisor, MSDE as Chairperson, NCVET and Executive Member, NCVET respectively.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, playing a proactive role in India's development process. Founded in 1895 and celebrating 125 years in 2020, India's premier business association has more than 9100 members, from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 300,000 enterprises from 291 national and regional sectoral industry bodies.
